New robot vacuums coming to the US after the restrictions: status report
Matic has a named exemption. MOVA has US listings. Approval, stock and a launch date are separate facts.

Matic: a confirmed approval, not a newly announced model
The October 2 FCC notice names floor cleaner 4MA0001 and dock 4DK0008. Its exemption depends on continuing compliance with the submitted onshoring plan and updated vetting. This is not blanket approval for future Matic products. Matic says every unit is assembled in Mountain View, California; that is the manufacturer’s statement, not an independent factory audit.

MOVA: watch the models, not an assumed onshoring story
The US V70 Ultra Complete page showed sold out at our check. The Z70 Ultra Roller Complete has a US product listing. Neither listing establishes a new post-restriction authorization or US manufacturing. We have not verified MOVA onshoring or a model-specific post-restriction approval. A US listing also does not by itself prove that a model first launched after July.

What earns a “coming to the US” update?
We look for a named model, an official US announcement, an actual shipping window and the relevant approval evidence. “Announced,” “listed,” “sold out” and “shipping” are distinct statuses. We will date substantive updates and link the evidence; there is no automatically refreshed live feed.
AI-assisted research summaries by RoboVac News. Manufacturer claims are labeled; previews are not hands-on reviews. Checks are dated snapshots, not live stock or legal-clearance guarantees. We correct claims when source evidence changes.
